Doug Lindauer gave us all an update on the team’s progress from the broad camp nestled in what is known as Genet Basin. They crew got somewhat creative today, and cut Matt loose to make a run up to high camp at 17,200′ (5242m) with another MT guide, Karen Bockel, who is on another small…
Nick called in from high camp to give us an update on a team that spent the day loading up on calories and fortifying the snow walls around their tents. They moved up from the Genet Basin camp at 14,200′ on Saturday, which is a really big day. They first climbed up 1400′ of moderately…

Paul Pottinger called in from 11,200′ today. His call gets a bit garbled as the satellites far to the south pass behind one of the tall ridges bordering their camp at 11,200′. The team is doing really well and had sort of an active rest day today. They slept in, ate a huge breakfast and…
Joe Butler reported yesterday that his team moved up through 30 mph winds at windy corner to 14 camp, with all team members moving strong. As soon as they moved around Windy Corner they were out of the wind, and the last few hours to camp 3 of their move were in calm conditions.
