Japan 8 8 team spent the day at 17,200, and is enjoying the clear views from the upper mountain. Although it’s cold and the forecast isn’t promising, the team plans to wake up in the morning with hopes for good enough weather to move toward the summit. recording
June 13th team gets ready to rest after a hard day of caching gear at 13,500 ft. They hope to wake up in the morning and move to 14,000ft if the weather permits. Everybody is looking strong and prepared for the move. recording
Bob and the crew moved up to 14,000 ft camp today where they’ll settle in for the next several nights acclimatizing and preparing to move up to high camp. Here’s Joe calling in with all the news from 14k: recording
The team had a relatively easy day today, they were able to sleep in a little after their big move up to the 14,000 ft camp yesterday. After a big breakfast, they went down the glacier about 700 vertical feet to the place where they had cached their food and fuel a couple of days…
