Kelly called in from high camp after moving up on a reasonably nice day. They were settling in this evening melting snow for water and making some soup and dinner. Karen called in this morning to say they were standing by and watching the weather this morning. They are ready to leave for the summit, but it was a bit windy this morning up at high camp. The winds are dropping a bit, so let’s hope they get a chance today! —

Jared called in this afternoon from Camp 2 at 11,200 ft. They got an early start this morning again, and were in camp before lunch time. It was a bit cloudy this morning, but improved as they moved up in altitude from 7,800 to over 11,000 ft. They are doing good, and moving really well…
Meerie called in this evening after a nice rest day. They are all doing great, and hoping to move to high camp tomorrow! She say’s hello to her family, and that she is doing well. They woke up to winds, snow, and low visibility this morning, so did not go for the summit today. The weather improved a bit during the day, and they are looking forward to a nice day tomorrow. We’re hoping for a call that we can post still tonight.

They got a bit of skiing in today, going back down to get their cache. Tomorrow they’ll climb up to put a cache in on the ridge at 16,400 ft, and hope to find some nice snow to ski on the way back down. Here’s Durny’s evening call.
