The weather continues to be uncooperative up on Denali and the team watched it snow most of the day today. They have been patient and hopefully that will pay off as the weather is expected to improve a bit tomorrow and they hope to move to high camp soon. recording
Sean called in at the end of another snowy day hoping for clearing tomorrow! recording JY is back in Anchorage after descending with guide Mike Thurk and flying off the mountain earlier today.
JY is in Talkeetna, having made a safe descent from 14k. Suzanne and her guide team are at camp 3 and plan to move up to high camp as soon as the weather improves.
The traverse team moved down the ridge and the fixed lines today and are at 14,200′.
Bad weather is holding the team at camp 3. They plan to move high as soon as the weather permits.
