They woke up to a beautiful windless morning at high camp this morning and are finishing up their coffee and heading for the summit. It will likely take them 6-9 hours to reach the summit today, and we hope to get a call from them on the top.
The June 28th team enjoyed a beautiful sunny windless day to carry loads up to “Windy Corner”. They cached some gear up there, and returned to their tents at 11,000 ft for the night. Tomorrow they plan to move up to 14,200 ft camp. Everyone is doing great and sounds like they are eating well.…

Karen called in this morning to say they were standing by and watching the weather this morning. They are ready to leave for the summit, but it was a bit windy this morning up at high camp. The winds are dropping a bit, so let’s hope they get a chance today! —
They woke up to winds, snow, and low visibility this morning, so did not go for the summit today. The weather improved a bit during the day, and they are looking forward to a nice day tomorrow. We’re hoping for a call that we can post still tonight.
Durny called in this morning from Camp 3 at 14,200 ft. They are doing great, moved up yesterday, and will go down this afternoon to the cache at 13,500 ft where they left their gear a couple of days ago. Caitlin called in after dinner with the daily update. Sounds like they are eating well, and trying to be patient with the weather. The team spent the night in Talkeetna last night, but were able to fly in to base camp this morning. The weather was beautiful up at base camp this morning, clear skies and views of the mountain looming above. They took a final picture before hopping in the ski planes to go to base camp.…
