My first visit to Alaska was for a youth hockey tournament. I returned eight years later and have remained ever since. It is the perfect combination of wilderness, recreation, and most importantly, snow.
I spend my winters working for the Snow Safety Department at Alyeska Ski Resort. Summers begin with an extension of my winter when I guide on Denali and then fade into a more common summer approach of mountain biking, fishing, camping, and travel.
When traveling, I try to experience some of the valuable resources missing in Alaska, which include family, tropical paradise, and reggae music.
I have done 13 trips on Denali, five of them leads as well as two other 12-day trips in the Range for Mountain Trip.
