Another good day this morning here in the Mountain Trip Base Camp! The mornings have been sunny with cloudy and colder afternoons. Our forcasts have been very accurate predicting a short cloudy period with improving weather on the way! Awesome day over in the ice towers of the Khumbu Glacier

The Team climbed up to 18,700 ft this morning on an acclimatization hike to Pumori Camp 1 just across the Khumbu Glacier from Base Camp. A little cold, cloudy and some wind, but otherwise beautiful. Everest was in the clouds but lots of other peaks were in view today. Our

Enjoyed a very special Puja, or blessing ceremony that’s important to the Sherpa people here. Very spiritually powerful and colorful. After this the Sherpas can start into the icefall and our expedition officially begins! We all have been enjoying some time off, taking showers, enjoy Serkis’ amazing cooking, watching movies

The whole team is here at over 17,000ft/5180m in Everest Base Camp now. We arrived yesterday afternoon and have been hard at work getting everything up and running. It feels very good to be settled into one place now for awhile. Everyone is feeling good and enjoying a few days

Were all up on a peak just above the village of Lobouche. Amazing day, just across the glacier from Everest. Climbed to about 17800 ft. Can see Makalu, Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse. Also Changtse over in Tibet. Have a good 3g signal up here. Lobouche doesn't, so we're all trying

Enjoying Dingboche here. This morning we all left for a hike up towards Ama Dablam. Great views and lots of wind! An interesting hike up to over 16,000ft. that not many trekkers do as it’s a little of the normal trekking routes. Lots more cloud today and higher winds. Sounds

The team is in Dingboche today. Fantastic place in the heart of the Khumbu region and some of the most beautiful mountains in the Himalaya! Took a short hike up to the small village of Chukung today to about 15,400ft. Tomorrow planning a longer hike up towards Ama Dablam. Everyone
