We spent another day in base camp today after waking up last night intending to move up to Camp 2. Vanessa wasn't feeling well, and hadn't slept, so we pushed everything back a day to allow her to recover and get some rest before the push up to Camp 2.

Vanessa called in a post after the team's first rotation up to 21,500' on Mount Everest. They are all back in Base Camp, having descended through the Khumbu Icefall during the wee hours of the morning and are enjoying the comforts of the (relatively) thicker air. recording

We made it to Camp 2 on Mount Everest today! This serves as our advanced base camp and we will end up spending a bunch of days here to acclimate over the next few weeks. We make it pretty comfortable with a small SlingFin dome dining tent and a cook!
