The team has enjoyed some beautiful weather so far on their time on the mountain. They’ve been getting up early in the morning and trying to beat the heat of the afternoon on the lower mountain so far. Today they carried a load of food, fuel, and gear up to about 10,000 ft, dug a deep hole in the snow, and cached it to be picked up in a couple of days. They returned down to Camp 1 (7,800ft) for the night, and will move on up to Camp 2 (11,200ft) early tomorrow morning. As they move up above Camp 2, the heat becomes less of an issue and they should be able to sleep in just a bit. They are doing great and having a good time up there.
