Welcome to Kathmandu! Our whole team is here now. We have been very busy finalizing lots of projects, but have had plenty of time to pursue  some great mini adventures around town.

We had our briefing and received our climbing permit today, before heading out to Dwarikas for dinner. Dwarikas is an old, completely restored Rana Palace, that’s one of the nicest places in town. We had an awesome meal and enjoyed having the team together.  Check out the menu below!

This ain't McDonalds!

We will all head off to visit the Shymabunath Temple this morning.  We’ll post some photos from that iconic Kathmandu temple later today.

Bill, Neil, Chris and Ephi will head off to Lukla tomorrow to begin their trek in to Everest Base Camp. I will stay for a couple more days to make sure the myriad of things are in order before flying into start the trek to Base Camp.  We’re all really excited to hit the trail!
