Rob called in after the team dropped back down to their cache site at about 10,200′ to retrieve their supplies this morning. They had left the bulk of their extra food, fuel and some gear and clothing cached a couple of days ago, and now they are reunited with all their kit. They are all doing well at their camp in a small basin 11,200′ above sea level. This is a really pretty camp, ringed by steep snow, ragged ice cliffs and opens out to the west, with views of the thickly glaciated Kahiltna Dome and the green tundra that stretches to the coast beyond the Alaska Range.
Here is Rob!
