Happy Father’s Day from 14,200′! The team moved very well up to 14,200′ today. They had a bit of unsettled weather, but took advantage of the break in the seeming incessant snow to push hard to set themselves up with a new home for the next few days.
This camp will serve as a sort of Advanced Base Camp as they continue to shuttle supplies further up the mountain. The climbing above is more challenging and more serious than anything they have yet encountered, but they are well prepared and the days spent at this camp will help them ready themselves physically for the next phase of their journey.
Here is the team!!
