Todd Rutledge, co-owner of Mountain Trip,  called in the team report this evening. The team made good time today hiking up the Vacas Valley, following the Vacas River, to their first camp at Pampas de Lenas . Everyone is feeling well and doing great. The team is about to sit down to a special “asado” dinner, a traditional Argentine barbeque,  prepared by the “arrieros”, or mule drivers. I’m sure a nice bottle of Malbec, locally produced, will be served, as well!
