Mountain Trip guide Jason Denley called in an update for the May 10/Brian Dagg West Buttress expedition at Camp Two. They are camped back at 11,200′ for the evening and hope to cache up around Windy Corner today (May 18) if the weather allows.

The team descended to retrieve their buried cache from lower down the route at 9,700′. Jason noted that the team finally experienced some great weather and views of the rugged, glaciated peaks around them. They returned to camp in time for a relaxing lunch.

Jason unfortunately cuts out near the end, but he mentions that they are happy to see other Mountain Trip teams making their way higher on the route.
