Our lead guide Pablo Puruncajas called in after he, Alan and Phil all descended from the top of the third highest volcano in Ecuador! They had a tough day, with a moist wind covering them in rime ice as they climbed the last portion of the route, but they pushed on and reached the summit at daybreak.
Great job everyone!!!
They will rest and recuperate at a really nice hot spring resort for the next couple of days before driving south to attempt the highest peak in Ecuador, the 20,654′ Chimborazo.
Here’s Pablo!
Good job Alan and Phil!
