Perhaps the hardest working team on the mountain right now, our West Rib team has been working non-stop for two weeks at this point. They have seen no other signs of climbers on the lower half of the West Rib, and have climbed a vertical mile above the base of the route. They’ve only got another 4/5 of a mile to go!
They climbed through challenging conditions this morning in order to reunite themselves with the cache of supplies they buried a week ago. The variable weather might give them an excuse to take their first rest day tomorrow, as the forecast looks unsettled until Wednesday. They have definitely earned it!
Great job everyone. Hang in there and keep up the good work!
