Well, their patience paid off and the team had a beautiful, sunny day for the move to High Camp. The climb to High Camp is one of the most enjoyable days of climbing on the expedition because for the most part you are climbing on top of the ridge, weaving in and out of rocks and looking out over the incredibly beautiful Alaska range. It sounds like the team moved well and enjoyed the day.
If the weather cooperates, the team might make a summit attempt tomorrow.
Here’s Will:
Awesome!! Sooo close!!
Josh good luck on the summit. When you get tired, think of Kathryn…she’s been in labor for 21 hours! Little man is inbound shortly!!! Perfect gift to summit on the day he is born!
Hi Brian, Thinking of you every day. Miss you. Papa
Will,
