It’s a good day for our May 8 Team and Mountain Trip guide, Chris Dickson! This team has claimed the honor of being the first Mountain Trip guide team of the season to make the climb to Camp 3 14,200 ft (4328 m)! This is huge – drop them a congratulations comment below if you’re reading here.

The team hauled heavy loads under blue, hot, sunny skies and sweated out the 3,200 ft (975 m) march from Camp 2 to reach their destination. Arriving at a pretty empty camp the team was able to claim some prime real estate on the sunny side of camp and has begun to set up the Mountain Trip guide infrastructure that our teams will use for the remainder of the season.

Tonight they will bed down after a hot meal to rest their bones before they back carry before they will get a well-earned rest day at their new home at Camp 3. Let’s hope the clear weather continues! Cheers, crew!
