Scott Weinstein from our May 18th West Buttress team called in after the team carried supplies to about 13,500′.  The route out of camp climbs Motorcycle Hill, the steepest section the climbers have yet encountered.

Above Motorcycle Hill the route gets even steeper as it climbs up the next slope, Squirrel Hill.  The climbers weave in and out of rocks, climbing with crampons to provide footing.  It is fun, engaging terrain!
