Lead guide Elias de Martos called in an update on the team, back at High Camp at 17,200′ after their successful trip to the summit of North America’s highest peak! While the team is cozy in their tents, the winds are high outside, sounding “like a freight train” over the 16-Ridge. The team will catch some extra rest and wait for the winds to abate a bit before heading back down to 14-Camp to prepare for their descent down the remainder of the route to Denali Base Camp.
Here’s Elias!
you did it!!! despite the bad weather!!!! we are very proud of you!!!
