The May 27 team cached around Windy Corner today in good weather yesterday. Getting a cache of gear around Windy Corner sets the team up nicely to move to 14 Camp and have all their food and gear close by even if a storm rolls in. Above Camp 2 is where the real climbing really starts, using ice axes and crampons on steeper terrain.
Today, the team plans to move to Camp 3 at 14,200′ with sights set toward the upper mountain.
