Guide Jacob Schmitz called in another update from the Mount Vinson 2020 Expedition, from the 16,067′ high point of Antarctica! The team called in an update essentially from another world, as they enjoyed the summit in beautiful, calm conditions, far above the ice sheet below that stretches virtually as far as the eye can see.
We’ll post photos and updates as we receive them from the team, and we wish them a safe descent.
Big CONGRATS to the climbers, and a great effort.
Here’s the whole team with shoutouts to their loved ones!
Way to go Daniel and team!!! We are proud of you.
“Hooray” from the Kokoska’s!!! Love you!
Leave no stone unturned, RR!!!

The recording cut off, Brad was not on there.
Satellite communication is much tougher from the poles, I’m afraid. They had no way to know that the call had dropped. I have reached out to them to them to let them know.
Sorry about that!
Cheers,
Todd
Well done!! Proud of you
