Hideko called in this Christmas Eve to report that they are all doing well after a big meal and a bit of celebratory wine tonight. They are also celebrating Shlomo’s birthday today, so plenty of excuses to enjoy a glass of wine with dinner. Tomorrow they’ll be carrying a load of gear and food up to Camp 1 to stock it up for their move up the mountain.
