Climber Bec (Rebecca Heah) called in an update on the May 21 West Buttress Team, holding strong at High Camp on the route at 17,200′. The conditions have been challenging on the upper mountain, with high winds keeping teams in camp and preventing summit attempts.
The team spent yesterday exploring around camp and resting up. They hope to go for the summit today, June 5!
