Climber Keith called in an update for the May 21 West Buttress team, who cached above Camp One in warm, bluebird weather. Denali is certainly a place of extremes; the team noted being too hot and likened the glacier above Camp One to Jamaica, while lows at High Camp far above them dipped down to nearly -30 degrees Fahrenheit through the night.
The team will likely try and make the move up to Camp Two at 11,200′ today.
