Climber Leah Jay called in an update on the May 19 team from Camp Two at 11,200′ on the West Buttress. The team descended yesterday to retrieve their first cache near Denali Pass, and hauled those supplies back up to Camp Two.

The team is hoping to cache up around Windy Corner today, May 24, weather permitting. However, it does look like a relatively strong storm cycle, with high winds and snow forecasted, is about to descend over the range through Monday morning.

Unfortunately, the update cuts in and out a bit, as satellite phone service from Camp Two is a bit spotty, due to its location in a high basin with surrounding mountains often hindering a clear signal.
