The team is back in camp, enjoying a beautiful afternoon. They were treated to amazing weather in a place known for lots and lots of rain. The team did great, with everyone moving extremely well on the rocky route.
Our team is all doing well and they are safely back in camp. Unfortunately, we heard some very sad news from another team that was climbing today. A local guide was apparently hit by a large rock about four pitches from the bottom of the route, while our team was descending below him. Tragically, he did not survive the injury. Scott helped lower his body off the route. The team is deeply saddened by the terrible event.
