Climber Chris Ferrarante called in an update on the June 18 Denali Expedition, who were back at Camp One making dinner after caching above Ski Hill at approximately 10,500′. They will retrieve this cache later once they move up to Camp Two at 11,200′.

While the team climbed in gentle snowfall throughout the day, the clouds began to clear on their descent back to camp, revealing the imposing summit of Denali–the first time the team had a glimpse of “The Great One” since arriving on the Kahiltna.
