On Sunday, June 26th, a truly international group of climbers will congregate in Anchorage, Alaska to finalize months of preparation for an expedition that will attempt to climb to the top of the tallest peak in North America. Denali, at 20,320′ (6194m) towers above the very impressive Alaska Range in Southcentral Alaska. Rising 18,000′ vertical feet above the surrounding plains, it has the highest vertical relief of any mountain on earth.
Mountain Trip has been guiding Denali every year since 1976, making us the longest, continually operating Denali guide service in existence. We absolutely love to share the massive Alaska Range with visiting climbers and are eager to help this team pursue and hopefully achieve their dream of standing on its summit.
