This is a ‘before’ photo, taken outside the Earth bed and breakfast the day of the meet and greet in Anchorage.

Right now, this expedition is tucked into a solid camp at 11,200′, just above Kahiltna Pass.  They had a hard move from 7,800′ due to very windy and snowy conditions, but luckily the wind was at their backs and they got to practice their ‘traveling in bad weather’ skills, which may be very useful later on in this trip.
