Yesterday the team moved up to High Camp! They retraced their steps to the cache, climbing first for a couple of hours to the start of the Headwall where the Fixed Lines are. They ascended these ropes to the ridge at 16,200′ (4937m). Once a top the ridge they climbed another 1,000′ to High Camp. There isn’t took much space here for walking around, etc. Conditions tend to be a little more uncomfortable. Teams leave their cook tents in Camp 3 and use freeze dried meals at High Camp. Today as the team wakes up they will evaluate conditions and themselves and decide whether to take a rest day or push for the summit! Can’t wait to hear from them later today.
