The team called in last night after enjoying sleeping in until 10am. The guide team whipped up some amazing high altitude french toast for breakfast paired with some fresh coffee. For their rest day, the crew walked out to the “Edge of the World.” A really great rest day activity at Camp 3. The team is able to take a short walk without backpacks to where the plateau of Camp 3 drops thousands of feet to the Kahiltna Glacier below. On a clear, sunny day it feels like you are literally on top of the world as you lookout over miles and miles of mountain tops. From here you can climb up on a very picturesque rock to commemorate the moment.

The team is hoping for some nice weather to move up to High Camp soon!
