Khalid reports the team took a rest day at Camp 3 yesterday. The team is feeling strong, and they walked to The Edge of the World to check out the view. The Edge of the World is where the basin that Camp 3 rests on drops a dramatic 6,000′ (1828m) to the Southeast Fork of the Kahiltna Glacier, offering breathtaking views of Mt Foraker (Sultana) and Mt Hunter. Tomorrow the team plans to practice some necessary skills for the next leg of their journey that they have not needed up to this point. They will be making a plan to put in a cache at 16,200′ (4937m), and after that they can start to think about moving to High Camp to set up for their summit bid!
