The May 13 team took a rest day at Camp 3 yesterday. The previous day they were able to climb up to 16,200′ (4937m) to cache some things for their anticipated move to High Camp. They enjoyed being able to recuperate from their cache day over some delicious pizza. Aside from resting and reading, they have also been cutting blocks of snow using a snow saw to build up some sturdy walls around their tents. The forecast is calling for some potential high winds, and building snow walls around their tents helps the team protect their shelters. The team is hoping to get a weather window to move up to High Camp soon!
