Lead-guide Brian Muller calls in from Camp 14,200′. After their cache was put in yesterday up on the 16,000′ ridge they took their rest day to fully gas up with three hot meals. Hash-browns and bacon for breakfast, steak quesadillas for lunch and enchiladas for dinner! They will be checking the weather in the early morning to make the call whether to move to High Camp or to take another rest day. Making the move to High Camp is a challenging and exposed day so temperatures with wind tend to dictate a “go” or “stay” mentality. Stay tuned!
Hope conditions are favorable for a move to the high camp. Good luck!
