Rune calls in from Camp 14,200′ after retrieving their cache from below camp by Windy Corner. Above Camp 14,200′ live the fixed lines, which entail 800ft of steep snow climbing to gain the narrow ridge line speckled with granite rock that takes you to High Camp. This day involves some of the steeper climbing of the expedition and some of the most iconic views while traversing the ridge above. If weather allows, the team plans to climb up to the 16,000′ ridge tomorrow to place their last cache before they make the full move to High Camp. Stay tuned!
