Josh Garner checked in after a well-deserved late morning of sleeping in at High Camp on the West Buttress.  The team had a long day as they made their way up to the summit of Denali and back down to camp.

They enjoyed a clear, beautiful day on the top of the tallest mountain in North America, where they arrived at about 8:00 pm Alaska Daylight Time.  Soaking in the views, they took some time to capture the enormity of the Alaska Range in both memory and photos, before they began their descent.

They understood that the summit was only half way so they took their time, moving deliberately down off the exposed summit ridge and continuing back to camp.
