A climber from the June 12th Team called in to report that they hauled a load of gear and food around Windy Corner and all the way up to Camp 3 to cache it in the snow! Strong work, team!

The team went past the normal cache site in order to bury their cache right at Camp 3. This tactic will effectively give them an extra day to rest at 14,200′ Camp 3 because now they won’t have to “back carry” and retrieve their cache. It’s already waiting for them at camp!

We wish them continued good weather so they can make the move up to Camp 3!
