We spent the night in Pheriche and are currently eating breakfast before we start walking to Chhukung. We will organize our gear for the climb today and go over some of the skills required for our ascent.

Tomorrow we are going to climb up Chhukung Ri for a bit more acclimatization. The following day we will head to Island Peak BC and settle in for a night in a tent. If the weather holds the team will wake at 1 am on April 3 to begin our climb to the summit.

We have a few contingency days so we are looking at a high possibility for success. We will update everyone as soon as we can after the ascent. Thanks for following us and all your support as we explore Nepal.
