The guys are back down in the town of Cortaderas this evening enjoying the little luxuries of running water and a bed after their summit attempt yesterday. It sounds like they all had a great experience traveling in Argentina, visiting some small towns high in the Andes, and attempting to summit the third highest peak in the Andes. They climbed to about 6,400 meters (20,997 feet) yesterday and are excited to get back and climb the final 300 meters (984 feet) to the summit next year.
They’ll spend the next couple of days travelling back to Mendoza and maybe stop at a hot spring on the way!
Here’s Jesse checking in from town: Recording
