We were thrilled to get the call from Scott this afternoon that everyone made it to base camp today!   It is always a big hurdle to any trip to Carstensz, and this expedition was no exception.   Scott called in to say that everything went well with the helicopter today, and they are all in base camp, right underneath the North face of Carstensz Pyramid today.

They’ll spend a day or two acclimating before launching up on the climb, but they are really excited to be into BC and looking forward to the climb.
