Nicole had the honors tonight and called in from the 14,200 ft camp on the West Buttress. Today was a rest/acclimatization day after yesterdays big climb to the ridge at 16,400ft. They enjoyed beautiful weather and are ready to move on up to high camp tomorrow. Listen to the call:

Erik Guevara Merino called in from 11,200' to give us an update on the day's activity. The team descended to about 10,000' to retrieve the cache of supplies that they had buried a couple days earlier. This is a pretty easy day, and they worked about two hours in total.
