Congratulations to the members of the June 17th West Buttress team!  They reached the summit of North America! This morning they departed from High Camp at about 8:45 am, hiking up a steep, rising traverse, known as The Autobahn (for a party of Germans who slipped...) to reach Denali Pass,
The team moved up to camp at 13,600 ft this afternoon, and settled in for the afternoon. It was a hot day and they didn't want to push up the final hour or so to the 14,200ft basin in the heat of the day. They'll spend a night and make
The June 17 team moved to high camp on a beautiful day! They did great, moving quickly and are settled in this afternoon, resting and preparing to give it a shot at a summit tomorrow. Here's Kristin with the evening dispatch from High Camp at 17,200 ft:
Kaylee called in from Ema's team as they were relaxing back at high camp after a perfect summit day. They are all doing great, feeling lucky to have had perfect weather, and gotten to the top of Denali today!! Congrat's to all, and good work up there. Here's Kaylee with
Alan called in from Camp 3 at 14,200ft where they were taking a day to rest and acclimatize. They took a walk over to a place called the "Edge of the World" and enjoyed the views of the Alaska Range on a beautiful day. Here's Alan checking in:
The June 10th team checked in from 14,200', after they descended from High Camp this morning.  They are resting at the (relatively) thick air of Camp 3, before they will continue their descent down to Base Camp later this evening. Here's Lead Guide Brian Kramp - recording
CONGRATULATIONS TO EMA DANTAS!!!!! Team Ema reached the summit of Denali on a beautiful day.  Lead Guide Jason Denley and Ema were able to get shout outs to their families before losing the satellite signal.  GREAT JOB!  Ema worked exceptionally hard to provide an example to people around the world
Tyler Weller called in from High Camp, after Lead Guide Brian Kramp and Eem Napassporn descended from the summit of Denali! The morning was pretty foggy, which made it a bit challenging to make a weather call about heading up, but Brian, Eem, Hans Wonneberger, and Tyler Weller headed up

Guide Logan reports that the weather was beautiful and the winds calm, and the team made the move from 11 Camp to 14 Camp. Way to go, team! The plan is to take a rest day tomorrow, then cache again above camp at 16,400'.   Here's Logan: recording
