I feel super fortunate to be able to make my living spending time in the mountains with great people from all walks of life. Growing up in Steamboat Springs, I learned to ski and climb at a young age, which probably kindled my passion for the mountain environment. I moved to Washington State after college and started exploring the Cascade Mountains, where I got my start as a guide.
In 2019 I did my first expedition to the Alaska Range where my partner and I climbed 3 pitches of our route before returning to our tent where we waited out a week long storm. I was hooked and began guiding with Mountain Trip on Denali in 2021. I worked as a ski patroller for a few seasons in Washington before transitioning to primarily teaching avalanche courses and backcountry ski guiding in the winter. Currently I spend the rest of my season guiding in the Front Range of Colorado where I live in Boulder with my Fiancé. We enjoy getting outside in our free time but also watching a good tv show and eating good meals.
I’m an AMGA Certified Rock Guide, Certified Alpine guide, and an Assistant Ski guide, with the ski exam scheduled for April 2024. I am a Wilderness First Responder and have Professional Level 2 avalanche certification.
