Dodge Garfield
I was born and raised in northern New Hampshire in the heart of the White Mountains where I learned to love the outdoors through skiing and hiking. At a young age, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the mountains. I began climbing in my early teens and continued through highschool and from there I never looked back. After high school I pursued intensive internships in guiding, and packed up my van to head west to explore climbing across the country. I got my first job alpine guiding in the North Cascades. Since then I have climbed all over North America: from big wall climbing on El Capitan, to sport climbing in New Hampshire and alpine climbing in the Alaska Range and Washington. Currently I guide ice climbing in the east during winter, Denali in the spring and spend my summers working in the Cascades. I have been WFR certified since 2015, and have obtained my AMGA single pitch, assistant rock and alpine guide certifications as well as my AIARE Pro Level One.
