The June 17 West Buttress team has made their way down to Camp Two on the route at 11,200′, getting most of the technical descending out of the way. During their descent, the weather moved in with high winds and snow, and due to low visibility, the team decided to stop and camp at Camp Two to break up the descent. The team experienced very high winds at Windy Corner, truly living up to its namesake. The team is hoping for a break in the weather to make their final push back down to base camp. The mountain is not letting them go easy…
