The Vinson team is hanging tight in base camp waiting for a storm to blow through.  There is some weather brewing down near the mountain with winds expected to reach nearly 60 mph for a day or two.   Our team decided to wait it out in the comfort of base camp where they are less exposed to the high winds, and they have a giant dome dining tent to relax in while the storm blows outside.

They have plenty of days to spare, that’s not a problem, so they’ll wait a day or two and head up when the weather improves.
