Chris Kerrick called from 14 camp, reporting a restful day of hanging out. The weather was beginning to sock in, but he reported that temperatures were relatively warm and everything was going great in camp. Rest days involve some light exercise to aid acclimatization, and 14 camp is generally accepted to be free of crevasses; this means team members are free to roam around the tent city and stretch their legs a little. Chris plans to lead the team up to high camp tomorrow, weather permitting. The forecast is less than optimal over the next few days, but every guide knows the unpredictability of weather forecasts on Denali and Chris will do a weather check early in the morning to see if conditions will permit a move.
