JUNE 19 TEAM AT 12,500′ CAMP

The Team began its day in decent weather, but the wind picked up and it started to snow, so the guide team made the decision to camp at 12,500′ on what is called the “polo field.” The polo field is a relatively flat section located between the top of Squirrel Hill and Windy Corner. The plan is to continue the ascent to 14 Camp tomorrow, as soon as the weather allows.
