The team called in from the base of the long, scree-filled gully known as the Canaleta. They are about to climb up the final 2.5 hours to the top of the mountain. There is often a decent trail through the scree, or rather, alongside the worst of it, and Zach will sniff it out.
Yoshiko and Fermin are just behind and still moving well.
